What started as a passionate idea has transformed into a viable business – one we hope will become a Seattle staple, and remain that way for years to come

The first Summer-Fall season really zipped by…it’s hard to believe we’re already in the dead of winter and preparing for our re-launch in Spring! So let’s take a look at the list of activities that have brought us to now…..

1.) In preparation for our launch we posted our story to Reddit. It went bananas (good bananas).
2.) We passed our inspectionanarythings and obtained Seattle’s FIRST permit for bicycle-foodcarts. Thanks SDOT!
3.) KOMO4 filmed a spot on us for the 6 o’clock news after they read our post on Reddit…our press inquiries began!
4.) Launch party at RAVISH….it was PERFECT!!
5.) We hit the streets with the product…our prime target: SLU. Amazonians go wild!
6.) Beg our way into the QA Farmers Market as a late entry. Queen Anne goes wild!
7.) Events & Catering!!!! Art-fests, street fairs, corporate deliveries, a wedding and more…our largest order was for 1,000 ice-pops!
8.) Macklemore’s radness – Yep, the rising international hip-hop star not only told all his fans about us…he also bought 250 ice-pops for them!
9.) Giving back – if you know our story, you know that it’s important for us to be involved with charity. We were extremely happy to make charitable donations during our first season to the Ronald McDonald House, the Rainier Vista Boys & Girls Club, and to the West Seattle Food Bank
10.) Hibernation + Reboot. At the end of a successful Summer through Fall run, we decided to take the rainy and cold months to evaluate the company, re-group, and reboot in Spring of 2013 bigger and better!

Well, that’s the quick tour through our life as a small and new business. It’s been a great start. It’s going to be a great continuance.

Thank you Seattle for welcoming Six Strawberries Artisan Ice-Pops into our local market! We’ll keep cranking out delicious, non-dairy frozen treats….if you promise to keep eating them!
